Tunisia-Taxi drivers protest

Some individual taxi drivers requested in a statement today that the Interior and Transport ministries explain their position on the use of irregular means of transport during this period of lockdown.

Speaking to a private radio station, Taxi Defense Organization deputy director-general Tarek Mejri said that taxi drivers were stopped this morning by security units from carrying out their activities. They have even had their vehicle papers removed on the pretext that they have violated health measures.
