Tunisia-Tension and protests in Gafsa, Sidi Bouzid and Kasserine

Tunisia is currently encountering a delicate social situation. After a night sparked by acts of vandalism and looting, yesterday Saturday, this Sunday, January 17, demonstrations broke out in Kasserine, Gafsa and Sidi Bouzid.
In Jelma, in the governorate of Sidi Bouzid, several protesters cut off the central road where the security forces had to intervene by using tear gas.
Same images in Gafsa where the tension intensified when the municipality proceeded to demolish the anarchic kiosk of a poor family. Clashes took place between police forces and demonstrators.
The Kasserine government is additionally experiencing clashes between young protesters and law enforcement officials on Sunday.
