In the same press release, it is specified that it was the Ministry of Commerce that set this price, which, logically, should be in effect since last April. The ministry has also set the ceiling price for fabrics used in the manufacture of protective masks.
Thus, the ceiling price per meter for the 100% polyester warp and weft fabric with water repellency 1.50 ml gsm 120 gr, used for the first layer of the mask, is set at 6,500 dinars.
The ceiling price per meter of 100% polyester warp and weft fabric 1.50 ml gsm 80 gr, used for the second layer of the mask is fixed at 4,500 dinars.
The ceiling price per meter for the 100% white cotton single jersey fabric, width 1.64 ml gsm 145g, used for the third layer of the mask, is set at 6,000 dinars.
The press release specifies that non-compliance with these ceiling prices is liable to legal proceedings under the provisions of Law No. 36-2015 of September 15, 2015 and Decree No. 10 of April 17, 2020.
