Tunisia-The first batch of influenza vaccines sold out on the 1st day

The Tunisian Union of Private Pharmacies Owners and the National Chamber of Wholesale Drug Distributors affirmed, Friday, October 02, 2020, that the first batch of seasonal flu vaccinations had been exhausted.

The same sources said, in a joint statement, that flu shots have run out at most wholesalers and private pharmacies since the early hours of distribution.

The statement said the batch contained small amounts of the vaccine, calling on the regulatory authority to coordinate with them to find solutions to avoid disruption.

They expressed hope that the next batch will not be severely limited, in order to meet the needs of the citizens whom the authorities have urged to be vaccinated, the statement said.
