Tunisia-The latest unheard of Tunisair …..

First of all, it should be remarked that this anecdote occurred with a French businessman residing in Tunisia. Hence, we need to imagine the stories he will tell to his friends who unfortunately harbour the idea of doing like him and invest in Tunisia. He will, certainly, tell stories that will make them think twice before jumping into the lion’s den.
Many people are acquainted with “shuttle buses”. These buses pick up students to school or employees to work. Many, also, know the principle of carpooling, when many people for the convenience of expense going in the same direction and time, take a single car and share the fuel costs.

However, what our expatriate businessman went through is a novelty in the world of international transportation. The product of the imagination of the Gazelle executives.

Our friend showed up early this Monday to board the Tunisair plane, which is due to take off from Marseille at 07:30 am, heading for Tunis. First blunder, which has become necessary; the plane only took off three hours late. Then the gentleman in question discovered his seat occupied which the crew explained by a problem of availability of places. Here we begin to draw the parallel with the buses.

On landing, he was astonished when he found out that they had landed in Italy, in Bologna. He could not believe his eyes. They tried to explain to him the reason for it, like what, they had boarded the Italians returning home, on the aircraft in the direction of Tunis. However what bothered him was that the company was operating hooks through other nations, without informing passengers.

We do not give any importance or any interest to the passengers, to the point where one does not even bother to notify them of such detours.

The bad joke is not going to finish there. Because while they were there, the people of the company decided to round up their fees and boarded passengers from Bologna, to take them apparently to Tunis or, perhaps elsewhere, via Tunis!

Bravo to the leaders of our “national pride” who attempt to find all means, including the most unimaginable, to “impress” their customers!
