Tunisia-The number of exports to Jordan doubles

The second edition of the Tunisian Food Week kicked off on Thursday in Amman, Jordan. It will continue till January 3, 2020.
“The organized exhibition intends to strengthen the Tunisian goods on the Jordanian market,” Tunisia’s ambassador in Amman Khaled Shili told the TAP agency, recollecting that the remarkable extent of Tunisian exports to Jordan increased between 2017 and 2018.
The event was arranged by the Tunisian Embassy in Amman and the commercial representation of the Exports Promotion Centre (CEPEX), food lovers will have a chance to have a glimpse at a variety of Tunisian cuisine prominently a variation of cheese, canned food, pastries, dates and seafood products.

Shili also announced the development of an action strategy to prolong the show to other Jordanian areas.
The 1st edition of the Tunisian Food Week organized in July 2018, contributed to the economic expansion of Tunisian exportation to the Jordanian market.
The volume of profitable trade between Tunisia and Jordan reached 101 million dinars in 2018.
