Tunisia- The oldest baccalaureate candidate is 75 years old

On Wednesday, June 16, 2021, 145,500 applicants for the baccalaureate exam (a record since 2008), including 11,500 free candidates, will begin the written exams.

Among them is Mohamed Anis Bounab, who will be the oldest candidate for the 2021 baccalaureate. At 75, he will pass his baccalaureate in the company of his grandson and his nephew, as he told Mosaique FM.

Originally from the city of Metlaoui, governorate of Gafsa, he chose to take his baccalaureate after feeling a great void during the  lockdown. It was there that he decided to go to a private institution to have this experience.
