Director of the National Observatory of New and Emerging Diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya declared, this Monday, August 10, 2020, that ”the scientific committee for the fight against the coronavirus will propose tomorrow to the interim Minister of Health the requirement of the presentation of the negative RT PCR test to all arrivals in Tunisia including those in the area green, initially spared from this measure.
In a declaration to the TAP, Ben Alaya specified that this proposal will also be presented subsequently to the presidency of the government to take the necessary measures.
Ben Alaya informed that the scientific committee considered this proposal following the identification of a few confirmed cases of coronavirus infection from countries classified in the green zone according to the level of risk of coronavirus infection and who have been spared from the presentation of the RT PCR test.
