The Tunisian General Labour Union has requested to postpone the revision of the electoral law and the openness of dialogue, sheltered from any political pressure.
The union considered that the desire to amend this law during the current circumstances would only exacerbate political friction. Furthemore, it will cloud the electoral climate.
They also expressed concern that the possible revision of the electoral law was aimed carefully at instantly striking the next election date. Moreover, they considered that selectively in amending this electoral law may cunningly conceal hidden motives.
