Tunisia-The two Italian foreign and interior ministers visit Tunisia on Monday

Italian Foreign Ministers Luigi Di Maio and Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese are visiting Tunisia on Monday.

A meeting will be held in Carthage under chairmanship of President of the Republic Kais Saied. It will be attended by Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Salma Enneifer, the European Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement and the European Commissioner for Home Affairs.

A source from the Presidency of the Republic told TAP that this working session would be an opportunity to discuss the means to consolidate the distinguished relations between Tunisia and Italy and to deepen the negotiations on a certain number of problems in the region, in particular the issue of irregular immigration.
