Speaking today to Tunisie Numériquek former diplomat Ahmed Ounaies recalled that the United States Senate called for a new democratic stage in Tunisia, through a dialogue involving all the parties concerned.
According to him, this is a new condition inflicted by the United States to strengthen Tunisian-American relations.
Ounaies emphasised that this appeal was made at the end of the second round of the legislative elections as well as the appointment of a new American ambassador clarifying that the Tunisian authorities will deal with this recommendation according to the own vision of the head of state Kais Saïed.
