Tunisia-These 5 ministers are probably not affected by the next ministerial reshuffle

Yesterday, Monday, August 7, 2023, the Palace of Carthage witnessed an important meeting chaired by the president of the republic Kais Saied. Alongside him were present prime minister Ahmed Hachani as well as five ministers, all involved in the vital project of education and teaching.

The main object of this meeting was the national consultation regarding the reform of education and teaching. During this meeting, the head of the state underlined that one of the priorities of this phase was to establish a new education system. He recollected that the measures taken earlier in the name of reform had seriously impacted a key pillar of the state, namely the education sector.

This particular summons of ministers strongly implies that they will not be impacted by the next ministerial reshuffle envisaged under the leadership of the new prime minister.

The ministerial personalities in question are Mohamed Ali Boughdiri, Minister of Education, Moncef Boukthir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Nizar Ben Néji, Minister of Communication Technologies, Ibrahim Chaibi, Minister of Religious Affairs, and finally Amel Belhaj Moussa, Minister for the Family, Women, Children and the Elderly.

This meeting consequently not only reveals a commitment to education reform but likewise suggests a certain ministerial stability for these five members of the government in the context of the upcoming reshuffle.
