Tunisia-Tourism revenue rise to 46% as of August 20

Tourism revenues rose to 46 % as of August 20, to approximately 3.5 billion dinars, in marked contrast to 2.4 billion dinars in the same period of last yearstates the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT).
Tourist visitors properly marked a gradual increase of 12.8%, till August 10, with 5.438 million touristsaccording to official statistics published by the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts.

The BCT has issued its regular monetary and financial indicators, the growth covers further increasing labour revenue, which increased from 2.6 billion dinars until August 20, 2018, to approximately 3 billion dinars in the comparable period in 2019, which matches to an improvement of 15%.

Consequently, net foreign currency stocks grew considerablyapproaching on August 23, 2019, 17.5 billion dinars, or 98 days of import, against 70 days of import, in 2018.
