Tunisia-Towards a 2nd general strike in the public service [Video]

The deputy secretary-general of the UGTT, in charge of public establishments, Slaheddine Selmi told Tunisie Numérique the prospect of decreeing a second general in the public service. He confirmed on the sidelines of a meeting held today in the governorate of Beja in the attendance of trade unionists that the office of the UGTT will meet today or tomorrow to decide whether there will be a strike.

Selmi explained that the administrative committee approved the principle of the strike pointing out that it is up to the executive office to fix the date. The speaker likewise indicated that the administration did not take seriously the demands of the UGTT since the Trade Union Center was not contacted for this purpose.
