Tunisia- Towards reducing the period of the compulsory Quarantine for arrivals from abroad

During a meeting between the scientific committee for the fight against coronavirus and the commission for Tunisian affairs abroad, the latter displayed its dissatisfaction with the fact that the government authorities are taking advantage of the spread of the coronavirus to enable certain hotel institutions to enhance themselves illegitimately to the disadvantage of Tunisians abroad, Yassine Ayari reported.
The MP condemned the extortion attempts made by security agents at Tunisian airports. The parliamentary commission suggested to decrease the compulsory Quarantine to only 2 days while maintaining the procedures for drug testing, Yassine Ayari stated, adding that some members of the scientific committee also acknowledge the absurdity of some restrictions.
This proposal will be examined by the scientific committee, which will make its decision in the light of the evolution of the health situation, added the MP.
