Tunisia-Towards the increase in tea and rice prices

The Ministry of Commerce sent a letter to the Commerce Office notifying it of a review of the selling prices of tea and rice. According to the information available the prices will be:

– 8,689 dinars for the kilo of green tea for buy by the office before the application of taxes. The selling price for wholesale traders will be fixed at 10.91 dinars per kilo with a profit margin of 0.42 dinars. The profit margin for retail sales was set at 1.09 dinars per kilo. The retail price is hence twelve dinars per kilo and three dinars for the 250-gram sachet.

– 20,442 dinars per kilo of Sri Lankan black tea for purchase by the office before the application of taxes. The selling price for wholesale traders will be fixed at 25.455 dinars per kilo with a profit margin of 0.98 dinars. The profit margin for retail sales was set at 2.545 dinars per kilo. The retail price is consequently 28 dinars per kilo and 4.2 dinars for the 250 gram sachet.

– 2.556 dinars per kilo as the selling price by the Thai rice office. The selling price by wholesale traders was set at 2.63 dinars per kilo and the retail selling price at 2.8 dinars per kilo.

– 5.896 dinars per kilo as the selling price by the basmati rice office. The selling price by wholesale traders was set at 6.064 dinars per kilo and the retail selling price at 6.5 dinars per kilo.
