Tunisia-Tracking COVID-19 cases in Tunisia for April 29

Tunisia has declared 5 new cases of the new coronavirus, bringing the total of infections to 980, announced the health ministry in a statement today. Furthermore, the ministry announced a rise in the number of recoveries with 294 patients making a complete recovery since the beginning of the outbreak. Meanwhile, 20 are in the intensive care unite while 72 are still hospitalized.

Confirmed cases  are distributed as follows:

  • Tunis: 211 cases
  • Ariana: 97 cases
  • Ben Arous: 94 cases
  • Manouba: 39 cases
  • Nabeul: 13 cases
  • Zaghouan: 3 cases
  • Bizerte: 25 cases
  • Beja: 3 cases
  • Jandouba:1
  • Le Kef: 6 cases
  • Sousse: 82 cases
  • Siliana:3
  • Monastir: 37 cases
  • Mahdia: 16 cases
  • Sfax: 36 cases
  • Kairouan: 6 cases
  • Kasserine: 9 cases
  • Sidi Bouzid: 5 cases
  • Gabes: 23 cases
  • Medenine: 87 cases
  • Tataouine: 36 cases
  • Gafsa: 44 cases
  • Tozeur:5 case
  • Kebili: 99 cases
