Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, regional director of Health in Sfax, Hatem Cherif reported that 700 bodies of irregular migrants have been buried since the start of the current year in cemeteries in the region, in partnership with the direction General of Habib Bourguiba University Hospital, agents of the legal medicine service, municipal agents, the Red Crescent in Sfax and the National Guard.
In the same vein, he explained that 15 bodies of illegal migrants have been discovered in the last 24 hours, which necessitated the holding of a crisis meeting.
