Tunisia-Tunisair’s debts peak at 2.1 billion DT

According to a report issued by the Ministry of Finance, Tunisair company sustained a net loss of 336.7 million dinars in 2020, opposed to 18.9 million dinars in 2019, an increase of 1681.5%. This loss results from the decline in the operating result of the company by 281.6 million dinars, compared to 2019 and the growth in other ordinary losses by 46 MD (69.6%).

The company’s operating income plunged by 1,224.7 million dinars, i.e. a drop of 68.2%, compared to 2019. Operating expenses, in turn, declined by 943.1 MD, a decrease of 52.8%.

The document of the department likewise notes that the company’s debts would amount to 2142.6 MD in 2020, against 1954.5 in 2019.
