Tunisia-Tunisia condemns desecration of copies of the Quran

On the sidelines of his participation in the 18th extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Mounir Ben Rjiba reaffirmed Tunisia’s condemnation of repeated acts of desecration and burning of the Holy Quran in Denmark and Sweden.

Mr Ben Rjiba called for the necessity to alert the countries concerned and the European institutions to the gravity of these attacks.
