In a radio statement, the director-general of the national pharmacovigilance centre and member of the scientific committee for the Riadh Daghfouss affirmed that Tunisia has achieved collective immunity of 50%.
He stated that the improvement in the epidemiological situation in the nation was due to the intensification of mass vaccination operations, as well as the rise in the number of people who contracted the virus. Daghfous added that the vaccination rate reached 48% for people over the age of 15 while the infection rate reached 60%.
