Tunisia- Tunisia logs 12 deaths and 12,436 infections on Jan.17

12 COVID-19 deaths and 12,436 infections were reported on January 17 from 43,340 tests (28.69% positivity rate), taking the caseload to 804,353 and death toll to 25,846, the Health Ministry declared.

The number of recoveries climbed by 2,273, hitting 708,564.

71 new hospitalisations in public and private healthcare facilities took the total to 603. This includes 136 patients in intensive care and 33 under life support.
