Tunisia-Tunisia ranks 162 in the Global index of safe countries

Tunisia was ranked 162 in the 2019 mid-year  Numbeo index that was based on the views of almost 70,000 people. Tunisia observed a vital drop in its ranking which was 115 last year.Despite the downturnTunisia listed second in Africa behind Alexandria, Egypt, and Addis Ababa, Cairo, Harare and Casablanca.
The crime index in Tunisia doubled from 37.85 in mid-2018 to 42.56 in 2019, while the safety index slipped from 62.15 points to 57.44.Numbeo’s crime index for mid-2019 was based on the levels of safety and crime.

Abu Dhabi ranked first on the 2019 mid-year index, whereas The five least safe cities were Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, Pietermaritzburg and Pretoria in South Africa, Port Moresby in Papa New Guinea and the Honduran city of San Pedro Sula.
