Tunisia kept its rank in the latest FIFA World Rankings released for September by placing 29. Senegal continues as the highest-ranked African team in 20th spot succeeded by Tunisia in 29th place, Nigeria in 34th place, and 2019 AFCON champions Algeria in 38th place. Belgium remains top of the FIFA World Ranking second and third place went to Brazil and France.
