Tunisia-Tunisia ranks 6th in Global Debt

Tunisia placed sixth out of 16 Arab countries in terms of the gravity of its global debt, according to the International Finance Institute’s report .

Tunisia total debt reached 81.55%, followed by Sudan, which ranked first, Lebanon, Bahrain, Jordan, and Egypt followed respectively.

 

Global debt surged from $9.6 trillion to reach $252.6 trillion year-on-year in the third quarter of 2019 — an all-time high — the Institute of International Finance announced.
