Tunisia-Tunisia receives new doses of Pfizer vaccine

Tunisia has now secured 256,000 new doses of Pfizer’s vaccine, bringing the number of doses obtained under the “Covax” initiative to 600,000, including 347,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine and 256,000 of AstraZeneca.

This is accordingly the 4th lot received under the initiative in question.

On this occasion, the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) Yves Souteyrand declared that the implementation of the Covax initiative faces some difficulties, particularly funding.
