Tunisia-Tunisia sends medical aid to Gaza

Minister of National Defense Brahim Bertagi affirmed in a declaration to the media, this Monday, May 24, 2021, that a first military plane had been loaded at El Aouina airport with medical aids that will be sent to the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip

Mr Bertagi ensured that this initiative was taken by his department as part of a national effort for which numerous parties mobilized, including the Presidency of the Republic, the Presidency of the Government, ministries and individuals.

He pointed out that this mobilization was illustrated by the collection of medical aids and foodstuffs to be dispatched on two flights, he added.

Mr Bertagi had assured that there was an intention to send a medical and paramedical team, specifying that this would depend on the improvement of the situation.
