Tunisia-Tunisia – Sugar shortage: Ministry of Commerce explains

The Director General of the Tunisian Commerce Office clarified this Wednesday, the reasons for the shortage of sugar on the markets in recent days. He confirmed that one of the suppliers of Tunisia who had a contract for Ivre 18 thousand tonnes of sugar, withdrew at the last moment.

The same source stated that this problem will soon be fixed, with the acquisition by the Ministry of Commerce of more than 78 thousand tonnes of sugars which will be delivered from next week until August.
