Tunisia-Tunisia suspends use of malaria drug Chloroquine to treat COVID-19 patients

Health authorities banned treatment of Covid-19 patients with hydroxychloroquine, said Tunisia ’s main COVID-19 unit member Dr Jalila Ben Khelil in a statement to the TAP.

Besides, she assured that with only two hospitalized patients, there was no longer any cause to utilise this drug.

She said the pandemic is under control inside the country, but the situation abroad remains alarming.
