Tunisia will be participating in the Africa Food Security Leadership Dialogue which will be held from August 5 to 6 in the Rwandan capital, Kigali. The minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries Samir Taieb will be heading the Tunisian delegation during the dialogue.
The convention is coordinated by the Republic of Rwanda, African Union Commission, World Bank Group, FAO and the African Development Bank and IFAD. The African Food Security Leadership Dialogue strives to encourage successful partnerships in the adequate provision of countries that wish to address the urgent food security situation in Africa.
At the end of the dialogue, members will promptly sign, according to Rwandan media, an official document that formalises the active engagement of all African partners to properly organise and promote joint actions to face fundamental challenges of food security in Africa.
