The director-general of the tourist office, Moez Belhassine, has confirmed that Tunisia will host, in June alone, 350 charter flights from central and eastern Europe.
Belhassine pointed out that numerous more flights are programmed for July and August. However, that will depend on the evolution of the epidemiological situation in Tunisia and in the countries of origin of these tourists.
Belassine announced that since the reopening of borders to tourist charter flights on April 19, Tunisia has hosted 81 flights to Djerba, Monastir, Sousse and Hammamet.
