Tunisia-Tunisia will receive a French donation of medical equipment on this date

Speaking during yesterday plenary session, Minister of Health Faouzi Mehdi declared that Tunisia will receive a French donation of oxygen production machines to cope with the 4th wave of the spread of the Coronavirus which could prompt 4,000 deaths.

Mehdi added that the donation will be offered during the visit of prime minister Jean Castex on June 2 and 3, 2021. It will be devoted to increasing the oxygen reserve in public hospitals in particular in Sidi Bouzid, Tataouine and Sfax.

The official further stated that Tunisia will receive new machines as part of cooperation with France, in the event of successful oxygen production.
