Tunisian film ‘Regarde-Moi‘ by Najib Belkadhi will be screened at the grand opening of Malmö Arab Film Festival (MAFF) in the festival 9th edition taking place in the Swedish city of Malmo from 4 to 8 October.
“It’s easy to recognize the breakthrough happening in contemporary Tunisian cinema, whose presence became a normal thing in all major festivals,” positively affirmed the founder and executive president of the Malmö Festival, Mouhamad Keblawi through the cultural festival’s official website.
“Honouring this aspiring industry was a logical choice for MAFF, which has been trying since its beginning to shed light on all that is distinctive in Arab cinema”. he added.
Malmö Arab Film Festival, MAFF is one of the largest film festivals with the focus on Arab cinema, outside of the Arab world.
The cultural festival will feature prominently 120 films from across the MENA region and will incorporate short films and documentaries. Famous actors, directors, producers, and many other film professionals will join the MAFF.
