Tunisia-Tunisians demonstrate in front of the UN headquarters in Geneva to condemn violence against women

Several  Tunisian nationals  protested at the United Nations Square in Geneva, condemning violence against women in Tunisia, particularly inside the Parliament, raising the slogans such as  “There is no withdrawal from the rights and gains of women.” And “No to violence against women.”

One of the protestors expressed to Mosaique FM the fear of Tunisian diaspora for the gains of women in light of the current situation that the country is going through, and the comments of some MPs against women, which contribute to the division of the Tunisian people, requesting for the necessity to protect and support the rights of women as well as not touching Personal Status Code.
