Tunisia-Tunisia’s tourism revenues surge to 42.5% in the first half of 2019

The tourism sector has accurately registered a remarkable growth on the level of the considerable number of successful entrants and local Tourism revenues. For the first time, the prime number of non-residents who visited the country attained 15.6%.

Tunisia’s tourism revenues rose to 42.5% in the first half of 2019. The sector carefully recorded an estimated 1982 million dinar compared to the same period of last year, which registered 1391 million dinars.

Tunisia saw properly the flock of 3,774 million non-resident visitors in the first half of 2019. The percentage rose to 16.7% compared to the same period of last year. Moroccan tourists rose to 18.3% while Europen tourists increased to 22%. Moreover, British tourists doubled in number in comparison to last year by 119%. Finally, French tourists grew by 26.2%.
