Tunisia-Tunisie Numérique famliy wishes you a happy women day

Tunisia is celebrating National Women’s Day, marking the 64th anniversary of the entering into effect of the 1956 Personal Status Code. The code was revolutionary for its time in terms of rights for women in an Arab country, with the abolition of polygamy and the possibility to divorce

.August 13 of each year is an opportunity to praise the achievements of the Tunisian woman that she has managed to obtain over time, to value her role in active society as a mother who knows how to sacrifice herself for her family, A model employee who knows how to set an example and a wife who knows how to show her daily dedication and to underline the rank she occupies in the Arab world in terms of rights and freedoms.

Happy Women’s Day!
