Tunisia-Two new cardiac catheterization units at Rabta Hospital

Rabta Hospital General Manager Mongi Khemiri announced today that two cardiac catheterization units will go into service in the upcoming days.

Khemiri further said that the two units worth a sum of 3 million dinars were financed by the Ministry of Health and an Italian donation.

He also reported that the two units stood out with new technologies, emphasising that this will enhance the treatment of heart disease.

According to him, the first unit was established in the department of functional explorations and cardiac resuscitation while the second was installed in the pediatric cardiology department.
