Tunisia- Two Transtu agents die of coronavirus

The Transtu has just announced the death of two of its agents from the Coronavirus.

The victims are tow drivers/controllers aged 38 and 47. The company announced the sad news without giving further details on the of these agents.

The absence of protective gear has been scrutinised by company officials for months.

A few days ago, an unexpected demonstration movement was organized by Transtu bus drivers who denounce the lack of any protective insulation on board vehicles.

In this context, Mohamed Chamli, communications officer at Transtu, explained that this strike comes after the failure to carry out the prevention program necessary to fight the coronavirus.

The administration is working to complete the program, but the complexity of the process has prevented the provision of protective equipment,he told Shems FM.
