Tunisia-U.S to facilitate the arrival of more than 4.3 million COVID vaccine doses to Tunisia

US Ambassador to Tunisia, Donald Blome assured, in a post published on the Embassy page on the sideline of a meeting with the president of the republic Kais Saied, the US support for Tunisia, in particular, to overcome the fallout from the covid pandemic.
“I was honoured to meet with President Saied today where I underscored the United States’ continued focus on helping Tunisia overcome the economic challenges of the COVID pandemic through thousands of grants and loans to small businesses, and to expanding investment and trade for a more prosperous Tunisian future. I also reiterated the United States’ commitment to facilitating the arrival of more than 4.3 million COVID vaccine doses, through the COVAX mechanism”, Mr Blome said.
