Tunisia-UGTT decides on a regional general strike in Sfax

The Administrative Authority of the Regional Labor Union in Sfax decided following a meeting organized today, to announce a regional general strike.
 
The Deputy Secretary-General of the UGTT in Sfax Farouk Ayari has declared that this strike will be organized as a sign of protest against the decline of the environmental and economic situation in the region. He added that the administration has not honoured its commitments relating to solving the waste crisis.
 
Ayari has, in the same direction, indicated that a press conference will be held on June 2 in the presence of the secretary-general of the UGTT Noureddine Taboubi.
