Tunisia-UGTT denounces arrest of Mosaique FM director general

UGTT condemned in a press release published on February 15 the practices against the public and private media, particularly harassment and demonization, going as far as the detention of the Mosaique FM director general radio and his interrogation on the editorial line of the media.

It likewise rejected the anarchic arrest campaign as well as the settlement of political accounts, through the exploitation of the judiciary and the demonization of political adversaries in order to divert the attention of the Tunisian people from their real concerns.

The office of the Central Union denounced the arrest of the Mosaique FM director general and the harassment carried out against media personalities calling for regularizing the situation of professionals in the sector, in particular those working within Snip La Presse, Shems FM and Cactus Prod.

It added that Bouden government refuses to launch a social dialogue on major files.
