Tunisia- UGTT pays tribute to Ahmed Tlili

A meeting will take place this Friday, June 25 from 9 a.m. at the Golden Tulip Hotel in the capital to honour the 54th anniversary of the passing of union activist Ahmed Tlili, one of the principal founders of the UGTT in January 1946.
It is a tribute to Ahmed Tlili, his sacrifices and his contribution to the UGTT  in Tunisia as well as in the Arab world. 
Ahmed Tlili worked from 1956-1963 as secretary-general of the UGTT. He was similarly elected vice-president of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU) in 1956.
