The General Union of Tunisian Workers (UGTT) believes that the revision to the draft of the Constitution proposed in the Referendum on July 25 is an explicit recognition of the legitimacy and the critical reading of the UGTT and thedifferent stakeholders.
The UGTT has likewise recognized that some revisions made to the first version of the Constitution are positive and seek to rectify the shortcomings of certain articles, in particular articles 55, 71, 90, 124 and 125, butthe fundamental shortcomings that hamper the construction of the rule of law have not been corrected.
