Experts from the UK’s Emergency Medical Team (EMT) have arrived in Tunis to help the country tackle the COVID-19 crisis, the British embassy in Tunisia announced. They were received by Deputy British Ambassador Matthew Forman.
The team, funded by the UK Government, includes nine doctors, nurses and logistics experts from the UK, France, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Italy.
They will be working at El Menzah field hospital for up to twelve weeks,adds the same source.
