Tunisia- Union of Tunisian Women calls on the prosecution to defend the honor of magistrates

The National Union of Tunisian Women (UNFT) requested the prosecution to play its role in the protection of the two magistrates accused of adultery and sacked by presidential decree, in early June 2022.
 
In its press release issued on Monday, June 6, the union likewise alludes to minutes circulating on social networks concerning the two judges, denouncing all violence against women. The organization likewise called on the media and reporters to resist the prevailing moral degradation that affects the private lives of victims.
 
Also, the Union stresses in its text, that making the case public necessarily impacts the honour of these people. “The prosecution must protect the honour and privacy of individuals” .
