The Regional Director of Health in Sfax, Hatem Cherif, confirmed that the two students wounded in the wall collapse at El Mazzouna High School (Sidi Bouzid Governorate) and transferred to the Habib Bourguiba University Hospital in Sfax are both in stable condition.
The first victim arrived at the hospital in critical condition and required an urgent operation to stop abdominal bleeding. The surgery was successful, and the patient is now stable while awaiting a second operation on the leg.
As for the second victim, she also remains in stable condition. Although she suffered a head injury, it is not life-threatening, and no fractures were found. However, she is scheduled to undergo surgery due to a hand fracture.
Medical teams continue to monitor their conditions closely, and investigations into the cause of the collapse are ongoing.
