Tunisia-UPR calls on Kais Saied to stop giving statements

The Republican Popular Union (UPR) expressed its bewilderment at the latest speech by President Kais Saied during his meeting with the governor of the central bank (BCT).

The UPR revealed that the comments show that the Head of State does not master the basics of economics and the law. The party added that rating agencies are not interested in slogans or opinion polls but rather in solid indicators based on economic performance, public finances and debts.

Calling the latest speech “shameful,” the UPR called on the new government to develop a clear program to surmount the economic crisis. It accordingly called on Kais Saied not  to give more statements.
