Tunisia-Urgent measures to meet needs in the fight against Covid-19

A small ministerial council devoted to urgent needs to deal with the coronavirus pandemic was held this Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at the Kasbah Palace, under the chairmanship of prime minister Hichem Mechichi.
At the end of the meeting, a set of measures was decided:
Authorize 840 supplementary service contracts for field hospitals
Signature on Wednesday, July 6, 2021 of an agreement for the procurement of a thousand oxygen concentrators
The signing of the agreement for the acquisition of 3.58 million doses of vaccine from the American laboratory Johnson & Johnson, outside the Covax agreement.
Payment of service contracts set with the Ministry of Health, within one week
Earmark an urgent and complementary allocation from the State budget to the tune of 300 million dinars to fund the public health sector, including purchases, equipment, materials and medical consumables
Invite social funds to make an additional effort to finance the health sector during this period
