Tunisia-US State Department expresses concern over President Saied’s decree dissolving the Supreme Judicial Council

In a tweet shared today, US State Department spokesman Ned Price examined the latest decisions made by President Kais Saied.
 
 “We are concerned by ​Tunisian President Saied’s decree dissolving the Supreme Judicial Council. Last week we joined like-minded partners in emphasizing that an independent judiciary is a core element of an effective and transparent democracy”reads the tweet.
