Tunisia-UTAP Tunisia confirms that exported potatoes from Turkey contain infected Viruses

UTAP Tunisia confirmed that exported potatoes from Turkey carry infected Viruses, the ministry of commerce denied these allegations and defended the Trade Office of Tunisia who concluded the deal.

The Ministry of Commerce Exported 5,000 tons of potatoes from Turkey, The union called the transaction as “suspicious.

The UTAP‘s president Abdelmajid Ezzar confirmed during a press conference that laboratory analysis has validated that the supplied potatoes are unusable and is contaminated with viral and fungal diseases.

Ezzar confirmed that despite its Expiration Date half of the exported potatoes was distributed.
